Job Responsibilities:
∎ The primary responsibility of a nursing superintendent or supervisor is to manage the nursing staff.
∎ The nursing superintendent is expected to regularly check the work of the nursing staff to verify that all policies and procedures are being followed, and that clients are being properly cared for and treated with dignity.
∎ Meets nursing operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements.
∎ Identifies patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
∎ Maintains nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Knowledge of medical/surgical nursing principles.
∎ Able to perform effectively in highly stressful situations.
∎ Must be able to assist writing policies and procedures.
∎ Must interact effectively with a wide variety of people.
∎ Excellent communication skills.
∎ Able to assume a leadership role and serve as an example to other employees.
∎ Ability to function independently and prioritize.
