Job Responsibilities:
∎ Attend to all casualties of the students during school hours, take all necessary first aid measures and record the details of the incident including the student's name,
∎ grade, brief description of casualty, cause of casualty, measures taken including first aid treatment given, any other details including the name(s) of any other student(s) or individual(s) involved in the casualty.
∎ Coordinate with the Coordinators/Heads and the Parent of any student all the activities needed to attend to a student needing medical care at a clinic/hospital.
∎ Ensure that required emergency first aid supplies are always ready at hand and place requisitions as needed to replenish stock.
∎ Check each and every first aid boxes in all the school buildings and ensure that these first aid
∎ boxes have all the necessary standard items in it inside, are in good order and do not contain any medicines which have crossed the expiry date.
∎ Be responsible for implementation of the School's Hygiene Policy under preparation and provide inputs during the preparation of the policy.
∎ Act as the Hygiene Superintendent for the entire school by: and inspecting all the washrooms in all the school buildings every day to ensure that the washrooms are cleaned and maintained under proper hygienic standards and ; ensuring proper hygiene practices of the cleaning staff; and reporting cleaning and maintenance needs to the Facilities Manager.
∎ Supervise the hygiene and cleanliness measures observed/practiced in the kitchen throughout the food preparation process and the cleanliness and hygiene practices of the canteen staff. Report any anomalies found with recommendations for improvement to the Facilities Manager.
∎ Provide guidance on hygiene practices and conduct awareness sessions for students and staff.
∎ Provide guidance and information about managing the outbreaks of disease.
∎ Proactively inform the learning community about pollution levels and hazardous events.
∎ Attend to any other responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
∎ SPECIAL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR COVID-19:
∎ a) Monitor the body temperature of all students, all staff and visitors during entry to school.
∎ b) Ensure that anyone having COVID-19 symptoms does not enter the school.
∎ c) Ensure that everyone is disinfected before they enter the school.
∎ d) In coordination with the Operations Department, ensure that hand sanitizer is available in all
∎ classrooms, staff rooms and all floors of the school.
∎ e) Generate daily COVID-19 reports and submit them to your line manager.
∎ f) Keep abreast of and update all members of the school about the latest national and
∎ international directives and advisories issued regarding COVID-19 (including instructions given by WHO).
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Some experience in management of primary healthcare projects for children and/or adolescents
∎ would be an added advantage.
∎ Smart and energetic
∎ Must have good communication skills in English (Reading, Writing and Speaking)
∎ Working experience from abroad will get preference.
