Job Context:
∎ The incumbent will work under a dedicated team to accomplish the project objectives maintaining Jhpiego`s global standards. Under guidance of the Program Director, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, s/he will coordinate the Workplace Intervention Team to implement planned activities of the annual work plan (AWP), approved by UNFPA.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ A. MEAL Tool Development and Data Management
∎ Develop and implement a robust monitoring system that will ensure tracking of the activities in relation to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and/or Family Planning (FP) interventions in the workplaces-readymade garment and knitwear factories at different levels (outputs, outcomes and impact).
∎ Develop an integrated database of the SRH/FP intervention and ensure accountability through regular data updates, data integrity and working in collaboration with the Programme Officers (MEAL) sitting in the BKMEA and BGMEA.
∎ Work with Program Officers, BGMEA, BKMEA and DGFP officials to ensure the collection of relevant and appropriate data needed for effective MEAL systems, which would be utilized in monitoring strengths, weaknesses and gaps in intervention and services and for reporting on donor commitments.
∎ Review/develop data collection tools for the current SRH/FP interventions in the workplaces.
∎ Incorporate field and technical team feedback to ensure the continuous improvement of data management systems.
∎ Timely update and share data with the relevant officials in the DGFP, UNFPA and Jhpiego.
∎ B. Monitoring and Reporting
∎ Work closely with the BGMEA, BKMEA and DGFP officials to ensure that feedback to implementing the intervention is within time.
∎ Develop M&E plans for the intervention and ensure the same is followed up during implementation.
∎ Carry out data quality assessments/ audits regularly for MEAL data based on agreed indicators to guide decision making.
∎ Provide alert to the respective programme officers/ managers on corrective actions required to avoid delays in implementation, including flagging operational issues and risks requiring timely actions.
∎ Review monthly progress reports from the Programme Officers and provide feedback
∎ Monitoring the effectiveness and impact of the Return of Investment (ROI) Tool interventions on key business metrics: absenteeism, productivity and staff turnover, in collaboration with business partners, UNFPA Bangladesh and UNFPA Asia-Pacific Regional Officer (APRO).
∎ Produce and present report to the SRHR Forum for RMGs as and when needed.
∎ Prepare and submit event report and support the Program Director to prepare quarterly/ annual progress report and presentations for donor/coordination meetings.
∎ C. Learning, Accountability, Capacity Building and Advocacy
∎ Provide relevant evidence for learning from the intervention.
∎ Share learning and provide constructive feedback to colleagues in order to ensure programme quality.
∎ Ensure Sex, Age, Disability Disaggregated Data (SADD), Accountability and Gender standards are consistently adhered in programme delivery.
∎ Build capacity of workplace and any relevant staff through training to ensure adoption of new data monitoring tools and quality of data collected.
∎ Lead the advocacy efforts to introduce UNFPA's Return of Investment (ROI) tools with the factory owners, buyers and other relevant stakeholders.
∎ Advocate with the factories and companies to pilot and implement the proposed activities in the factories, based on interventions included into the ROI Tool.
∎ D. Supervision
∎ Supervise day-to-day activities of the Programme Officers (MEAL) sitting in the BKMEA and BGMEA
∎ Provide mentoring support to the Programme Officers (MEAL) sitting in the BKMEA and BGMEA so that they collect quality data and information and provide appropriate feedback to the factories
∎ E. Coordination
∎ Maintain day-to-day coordination and collaboration with all stakeholders including BGMEA, BKMEA, DGFP, NGOs, Buyers, Factory Owners and Development Partners
∎ Ensure that the SRHR Forum for RMGs regularly meets and the decisions taken in the forum duly implemented.
∎ Liaise with business partners and companies stakeholders to orient them on the functionality of the ROI Tool, and assist them in running projections and estimates related to the different SRHR interventions proposed in the ROI Tool
∎ F. Special Assignment
∎ Carry out any other tasks assigned by the supervisor and senior management team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of working experience with interest in public health focusing SRH/FP in any organization.
∎ Working experience with private/corporate sector will carry added value.
∎ Proficiency in written and spoken English and Bangla
∎ Computer literacy with particular skills in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Bijoy52, and MS Outlook.
∎ Excellent analytical skills for identifying progress/ accomplishment of the project along with way forward.
∎ Excellent inter-personnel skills and ability to work in team environment.
∎ Willingness to visit the targeted facilities frequently (at least 60% time) using public transportation to accomplish the assignments.
