∎ Under the guidance of the Supervisor, coordinate and implement overall MIHR project related activities in the project area by maintaining liaison and communication with the government and non-government stakeholders. Maintain proper communication and coordination with other project technical staff to ensure the organization`s standard operation.
∎ The position is assigned to Pathfinder`s MOMENTUM Integrated Health Resilience (MIHR) project in Bangladesh. MIHR is a one-year project funded by USAID. The project aims to strengthen and expand access to quality postpartum family planning services in a fragile community setting through a collaborative health system capacity strengthening approach with the government of Bangladesh, specifically through a flexible implementation model led in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare including the Directorate General of Family Planning, the Directorate General of Health Services and Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure project Implementation: Implementation of project activities, according to workplan in the project area in collaboration with the project technical team members.
∎ Relationship Management: Build and maintain professional relationship with project technical team members and partner's relevant staff upholding Pathfinder's values and code of conduct while implementing the project activities timely in a facilitative/ supportive mode
∎ Internal & External Coordination: Organize and facilitate regular coordination and review meetings with employees and the stakeholders including DGFP, DGHS and Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief. Responsible for arranging workshop/training/meeting and any other outdoor program as per project activities.
∎ Project Management and Participation: Active management and participation in cross-functional project teams to implement project activities. Supports the development of workplan.
∎ Community Relations: Liaises with community health workers for cross cutting issues and to ensure integration. Collaborates and networks with key stakeholders closely with selected teams to promote all the activities at facility and community level.
∎ USAID FP Compliance: Ensures family planning compliance with donor and grant regulations/policies as stipulated in the project contractual agreements.
∎ Documentation and Reports: Ensures quality, reliability, and timeliness of performance reports and other programmatic compliance activities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 years' experience in program management preferably SRHR /Family Planning/ Newborn care/ Nutrition related experience funded by an NGO in the field
∎ Prefer: 4 years' programmatic experience in field offices/ district level under USAID project
∎ Program Knowledge: Must have commendable knowledge on family planning and reproductive health service delivery system and network in Bangladesh.
∎ Compliance Regulations and Requirements: Advanced knowledge of the laws, regulations and policies applicable to international NGOs working on public health issues under grants and contracts funded by USAID
∎ MOHFW agencies (DGFP, DGHS) and Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief (MODR) hierarchy: Must have clear understanding about district and below level DGFP, DGHS and Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief hierarchy. Knowledge about MISP (minimum initial services package) for SRH is required.
∎ Local government system: Clear understanding about the local government system and its role in implementing FP, Newborn care and Nutrition services delivery.
∎ FP, Newborn care and Nutrition services delivery challenges: Should have knowledge about FP, newborn care and nutrition services delivery challenges and barriers at the district and below level.
∎ Presentation Skills: Ability to present information effectively to large and small groups.
∎ Training and Development: Ability to develop and deliver training to small and large groups.
∎ Teamwork: Must have clear understanding about teamwork and be able to play individual role effectively.
∎ Software Applications: Advanced knowledge of MS Office products, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
∎ Languages: Proven ability to write and speak using Bangla and English language. Understanding local dialect is a plus.
∎ Communication: Advanced oral and written communication skills, Ability to prepare and write reports.
∎ Multi-tasking Skills: Ability to manage multiple initiatives at the same time and work cooperatively with multiple partners.
∎ Self-Management and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as a member of the team, ability to thrive in a matrix organization, ability to be detailed-oriented, and ability to manage stress effectively in a fast-paced environment
∎ Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Services: Foundational knowledge of family planning and reproductive health principles, practices and services of programs, including program strategies and indicators, and the latest professional developments in SRHR.
∎ Newborn Care Services: Foundational knowledge of newborn care principles, practices and services of programs, including program strategies and indicators, and the latest professional developments in newborn care.
∎ Nutrition Services: Foundational knowledge of nutrition practices and services of programs, including program strategies and indicators, and the latest professional developments in nutrition.
∎ Extensive Travel required; must be willing to travel in public transportation
∎ Uses cellular and desk phone; laptop or desktop computer and other IT devices
