• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in urban planning, GIS, mapping, or spatial analysis.

• Advanced-level expertise in GIS mapping and spatial data analysis.

• Practical experience with Google Earth Engine (GEE) for geospatial analysis and satellite imagery processing.

• Experience in georeferencing and digitizing mouza maps.

• Practical knowledge of drone image processing, photogrammetry, and map preparation.

• Experience in GIS database development, management, updating, and quality control.

• Ability to coordinate field surveys and integrate survey data into GIS platforms.

• Experience in handling and processing LiDAR data will be considered an added advantage.

• Good report-writing, presentation, and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills and Competencies

• Advanced proficiency in GIS software, such as ArcGIS Pro or QGIS.

• Strong understanding of coordinate reference systems, projections, georeferencing, and spatial data quality control.

• Practical knowledge of remote sensing and satellite imagery analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare GIS maps, spatial databases, thematic maps, and analytical outputs for planning and engineering projects.

• Conduct spatial analysis using GIS software and Google Earth Engine.

• Georeference, digitize, and integrate mouza maps with relevant spatial datasets.

• Process drone imagery and prepare orthomosaics, digital surface models, terrain models, and other mapping outputs as required.

• Develop, manage, and maintain GIS databases for urban planning, infrastructure, land-use, and environmental projects.

• Coordinate field surveys and ensure the accuracy and consistency of collected spatial data.

• Process and analyze LiDAR datasets where applicable.

• Support the preparation of master plans, land-use plans, feasibility studies, and other planning assignments.

• Prepare technical reports, maps, presentations, and geospatial deliverables for clients.

• Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, surveyors, environmental specialists, and other multidisciplinary team members.

• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of GIS and mapping outputs.
