Educational Requirements:
∎ M.Sc. in Microbiology
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Processing of clinical samples from a range of sources
∎ Identifying microorganisms, using a variety of identification methods, including conventional and molecular techniques
∎ Following the Good Laboratory Practice and comply quality control in procedures
∎ Planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating new techniques and processes
∎ Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
∎ Executing basic analysis for research studies
∎ Planning and organizing resources and activities
∎ Writing research findings and preparing reports
∎ Keeping up with new research and relevant literature
∎ Liaising with colleagues from other scientific and non-scientific departments
∎ Observing, monitoring of laboratory activities.
∎ Taking care of laboratory Equipment’s & Logistics
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least one year experience of working in diagnostic and/or research laboratory
∎ Must be highly organized and be particularly attentive to details
∎ Must possess problem solving, critical thinking and management skill and be able to work independently
∎ Must be enthusiastic to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment and be willing to take initiative.
∎ Good communication skills are important
∎ Have capacity to supervise junior colleagues
Salary:
∎ Tk. 40000 - 50000 (Monthly)
∎ Depending on the experience and/or qualifications of the candidate
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Contributory provident fund and festival allowance (Eid/Puja/Christmas and Baishakhi)
