∎ Diploma in Pathology in Laboratory
∎ Training/Trade Course: Blood transfusion
∎ Skills Required: Basic Computer skills.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 4 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Blood bank, Blood Transfussion, Hospital Laboratory, Lab Technologist
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Clinic, Diagnostic Centre, Hospital
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organize and prepare specimen samples.
∎ Examine specimen samples for abnormalities.
∎ Maintain laboratory inventory.
∎ Analyzes blood cells by counting and identifying cells, using microscopic techniques and procedures.
∎ Prepares blood, plasma, and platelets for transfusions by conducting blood group, type, and compatibility tests.
∎ Prepares reports of technological findings by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
∎ Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
∎ Good basic computer skills - typing and practice of web browsing, App and MS office.
∎ Coordinate doctors, medical staff and support team.
∎ Specimen collection, labeling of specimen, Specimen storage, Specimen transportation, Specimen testing as per SOP and Maintaining equipment and reagents.
∎ Reporting routine and urgent tests and delivery of reports as well as Recording and storing of laboratory data.
∎ Maintaining health and safety regulations - infection prevention and waste disposal practices.
∎ Organization of reporting and recording, Reporting and interpretation of results as well as Follow
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Ability to join immediately is priority.
∎ Self-motivated, time management skill; must possess the ability to work under pressure; sensitivity to cultural differences and understanding ethical issues;
∎ Enthusiastic hardworking and strong sense of team work.
∎ Preference will be given for experience candidate.
