Responsibilities & Context:
The Physiotherapist evaluates patients, develops treatment plans, and provides therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life for patients of all ages. This role involves working collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and other allied health professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct physical assessments to identify patient needs and functional limitations.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis and patient goals.
Provide therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and modalities.
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness.
Monitor and document patient progress; adjust treatment plans as needed.
Coordinate care with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize outcomes.
Maintain up-to-date treatment records and ensure confidentiality.
Participate in community outreach, health promotion camps, and rehabilitation programs.
Maintain equipment and treatment areas in accordance with safety standards.
