Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ We need 2 Manpower for Blood Bank & Microbiology
∎ Related to clinical lab work
∎ Administration Ensure that all junior staffs are present for their respective duties for the day.
∎ Handle any problem arising from the junior staff side and inform HOD.
∎ Provide statistical details of tests done and percentage of wastage. Maintain reagent inventory.
∎ Note breakage, and losses in technical types of equipment and apparatus and be responsible for all the expensive reagents in the department.
∎ Keep store inventory and audit.
∎ Related to Lab Work Receive the patient's sample.
∎ Inform the respective ward if any inpatient sample is insufficient, heamolyzed, improperly collected or transported rendering it unsuitable for the test and handle any problem arising from the outpatient samples and inform HOD.
∎ Perform timely analysis, culture sensitivity, and staining of samples and check if there is any pending work.
∎ Perform all the tests and Quality control of the tests as per schedule.
∎ Supervise the overall day to day activities of the laboratory.
∎ Assure maintenance of proper laboratory safety and sterility.
∎ Make sure of timely analysis of all samples and check for any pending work.
∎ Run control tests regularly for quality control of the lab performance and inform the results to HOD.
∎ Call the treating physician to inform critical value if any.
∎ Should be responsible for the maintenance of machines and types of equipment and ensure that they are functioning properly.
∎ Inform the biomedical engineering department when any machine or equipment is out of order.
∎ Participate in training and educational programmes.
∎ Any assigned task from Management.
