Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Medical Technology (Laboratory Medicine) from any reputed organization.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The technologist will be responsible for handling/processing all samples specially COVID-19 sample, mark each sample and then work closely with the lab to ensure proper quality management for each patient.
∎ To maintain efficiency process and perform task associated with specimen collection and handling, to handover to laboratory staff and provide advice on such to the LAB.
∎ Adequate checking of specimens, ensuring correct packaging and dispatch of specimen.
∎ Appropriate and relevant use of sample management, scheduling system, proper patient identification.
∎ Collect and tag specimen exactly as outline in each medical requisition/prescription.
∎ Label and record all test tube, log procedure and file paperwork.
∎ Demonstrate knowledge of order of color top tube to use, volume of blood needed and test requirements.
∎ Stock management, ensuring relevant materials are adequately maintained.
∎ Perform any other responsibility assigned by the authority.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge of technical assistance
∎ Computer skills with Microsoft Office
∎ Candidates must have flexibility to work on any day of the week as rostered

Salary: Negotiable
