Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent will be responsible for the hygiene and comfort of patients admitted in the hospital wards ,cabin , IPD and OPD
∎ Accompany patients to the relevant ward/treatment sector once their treatment has been prescribed at the outpatient department or admitted as inpatient.
∎ Transport patients incapable of walking: from the ambulance to the triage; from triage to the treatment unit, using stretcher or wheel chair.
∎ Assist the patient to settle in the hospital (arranging chair or bed, blanket, cup, etc.).
∎ Explain to the patient where the latrines, showers, hand-washing points are.
∎ Alert the nurse in the event of a problem faced by the patient.
∎ assist the patient to go to toilet, taking bath and washing.
∎ Collect and transport dirty laundry (patients'/attendants' clothes and hospital linen) to the laundry.
∎ Collect clean clothes and returns them to the patients/attendants.
∎ Sorts and discards medical waste in his/her unit into the appropriate containers.
∎ Perform such other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum two years of relevant experience of working in any private or public hospital,
