Educational Requirements:
∎ M.B.B.S, Internship complete and registered with BMDC; good written and verbal communication in English. No experience is necessary but some experience will be preferred. Any additional training or qualifications will be added benefit. Freshers are highly encouraged to apply.
Job Context:
∎ Work within a team caring for in-patients and out-patients according to our guidelines,
∎ Pediatrics as well as neonatology including LR support. On call coverage together with a senior backup. Being responsible for emergency care and IPD care, carrying out daily activity of the IPD work as per guidelines and protocol and reporting to senior team. Participating in the weekly teaching session and motivated for self-learning and development.
∎ Job Location: Goda Shimla, Mahiganj, Rangpur.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assessment of patients on admission.
∎ Detailed history taking and Physical examination and documentation with in the first 24 hours of admission.
∎ Responsible for sending the patient for the appropriate investigation as directed by the primary consultant and also to authorize investigations, which are urgent.
∎ Take daily rounds of the surgical patients in the wards and assess them for treatment as deemed fit by his / her consultant and review them regularly.
∎ He/ she is to complete the In-Patient rounds everyday before, and fill the case sheets and progress notes & all the necessary documents & JCI document in specific chart of medical record without fail.
∎ Responsible for providing adequate treatment to the patient as advised and to check the dosage, frequency, route of administrations of all medications, considering all precautions.
∎ Continually monitor and review patient progress and adjust the management plan when necessary and to take appropriate initiatives in Medical and surgical emergencies when required.
∎ Preparation of discharge summaries well in time and briefing the patient about the medications on discharge.
∎ To guide the Registrar and Residents in the department in their daily work.
∎ To participate in clinical audit projects and research.
∎ Hands on training on basic ultrasound skills.
