Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
∎ MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
∎ Valid registration with the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council.
∎ Experience or specialized training in Neonatology and Pediatrics is preferred.
∎ Strong clinical knowledge and skills in managing critically ill newborns and children.
∎ Ability to make quick and accurate decisions in emergency situations.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
∎ Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
∎ Strong commitment to providing quality healthcare and improving patient outcomes.
∎ Willingness to work in rotating shifts and be available for on-call duties as required.
∎ Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health records.
∎ Skills Required: Doctor
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide comprehensive medical care to newborns and children admitted to the NICU and PICU.
∎ Perform thorough physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
∎ Monitor and manage critically ill patients, including administering medications, performing procedures, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
∎ Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
∎ Communicate with patients' families, providing updates on their child's condition, discussing treatment options, and addressing their concerns.
∎ Adhere to medical protocols, guidelines, and best practices to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
∎ Participate in medical rounds, case presentations, and departmental meetings to share knowledge and contribute to clinical discussions.
∎ Stay updated with advancements in neonatal and pediatric medicine through continuous professional development and attending relevant conferences or workshops.
∎ Maintain accurate and complete medical records, documenting patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
∎ Adhere to ethical standards, patient confidentiality, and professional codes of conduct.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 36 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 2 years' experience in NICU & PICU dept.
