∎ Age 25 to 40 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct rounds with consultants and manage post-round tasks, including follow-ups on investigations.
∎ Perform morning and evening follow-ups on patients prior to consultant rounds.
∎ Report to the Coordinator on clinical and administrative issues.
∎ Assess and admit patients independently after consulting with senior staff.
∎ Complete a thorough review of patient history and physical examination within the first 24 hours of admission.
∎ Continuously monitor patient progress, adjust management plans, and handle medical emergencies in coordination with the consultant.
∎ Ensure compliance with hospital practices to maintain the safest environment for patients and staff.
∎ Attend clinical meetings and workshops, and actively participate in presentations.
∎ Participate in hospital training programs and pursue ongoing knowledge and skill development.
∎ For New Admissions: Review patient history, lab results, and current medications prior to the consultant's visit.
∎ For Referral Patients: Manage referred patients under consultant supervision.
∎ For Discharges: Ensure accuracy of discharge summaries, including diagnoses and medications, under consultant oversight.
∎ General: Assist in patient counseling under consultant supervision.
