Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in the Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and Outpatient Department (OPD), diagnosing illnesses, prescribing treatments, and managing chronic conditions.
∎ Conduct thorough medical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop personalized treatment plans for patients, ensuring high-quality healthcare services.
∎ Provide counselling and support to patients regarding sexual and reproductive health issues, family planning, and preventive healthcare measures.
∎ Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, and counsellors, to coordinate patient care, referrals, and follow-up services.
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting medical histories, treatments, and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
∎ Participate in health education and awareness programs, conducting community outreach activities to promote SRH services and raise awareness about preventive healthcare measures.
∎ Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, interns, and residents, providing guidance and support in clinical practice and professional development.
∎ Collaborate with the management to plan and implement SRH and OPD services, ensuring efficient use of resources and optimal patient care.
∎ Stay updated with medical research, treatment protocols, and advancements in SRH and OPD practices, integrating new knowledge into clinical practice.
∎ Adhere to medical ethics and legal standards, upholding patient confidentiality and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in both SRH and OPD settings.
∎ Collaborate with other medical departments and specialists to provide comprehensive healthcare to patients with complex medical conditions.
