Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Overall management of the Hospital.
∎ Provide Outdoor Services and direct clinical care.
∎ Closely work with Program Manager for smooth running of the Hospital.
∎ Closely work with the other health facility/Hospital staffs/midwives to ensure the delivery of high quality comprehensive emergency.
∎ Ensure primary healthcare services/MCH care services.
∎ Manage all kinds of emergency (24 hours).
∎ Ensure all patient consultations and treatments are appropriately recorded.
∎ Maintain all clinical protocols, guidelines and standard methodologies.
∎ Arrange and assist all kinds of operation.
∎ Do and maintain the roster duties of medical officers and nurses, clinic aid and support staff.
∎ Communicate with the senior doctors and ensure that they are doing their job properly.
∎ Monitor activities and supervise the work of supervisee staff and provide on-site technical assistance (hands on training).
∎ Assist/Contribute in developing and introducing QA system for providing quality services to the clients.
∎ Develop and implement a strategy to reach the poor and involve the community in the management of the Hospital.
∎ Ensure all other systems are in place and well functioning, e.g., management information, personnel management, logistic management etc.
∎ Organize monthly management and technical staff meeting to review the progress in reaching the targets and identify potential problems and develop actions for further improvements.
∎ Coordinate with other service providers to establish functional linkages and referral system.

∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. The health and WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 8 institutions and 17 projects.
∎ “Ahsania Mission Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center” situated in Dhaka district, is one of the institutions of Health and WASH Sector, established on 04 May, 2004 has been providing quality drug detoxification and rehabilitation. The Center can accommodate 100 male clients at a time. DAM Health and WASH Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of "Medical Officer" of “Ahsania Mission Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center”, Gazipur. It's a Gazipur based position.
