Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Monitor and manage critically ill newborns, including those requiring advanced life support and interventions.
∎ Communicate effectively with families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis while providing emotional support during challenging times.
∎ Collaborate with nursing staff, pediatricians, and specialists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
∎ Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments to identify medical conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans.
∎ Provide comprehensive medical care to neonates in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and other settings, ensuring evidence-based practices are followed.
