Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Serve as the first responder to medical emergencies on campus, providing basic first aid, CPR, and triage support as required.
∎ Assess the condition of individuals needing medical assistance and make appropriate decisions for further care or referral.
∎ Coordinate with external medical facilities or emergency services as needed for severe cases.
∎ Offer general health consultations to students and staff, addressing minor ailments or injuries and providing appropriate recommendations or referrals.
∎ Maintain and organize medical supplies and first-aid kits across the campus, ensuring availability and readiness for emergencies.
∎ Promote a safe and healthy campus environment through regular health and wellness workshops and awareness initiatives.
∎ Maintain confidential records of all treatments and services provided in compliance with university policies and health regulations.
∎ Submit regular reports to university administration detailing health incidents, resource needs, and any other relevant health services information.
∎ Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols as per the university standards.
∎ Conduct periodic health and safety checks in collaboration with university administration to identify and mitigate risks.
