Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design and Planning: Mechanical Systems Design: You'll be involved in designing HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, plumbing systems, fire protection systems, and other mechanical systems for buildings.
∎ Energy Efficiency: Implementing energy-efficient designs and systems that comply with building codes and standards.Collaboration: Working with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to ensure mechanical systems integrate seamlessly with overall building design.
∎ Construction and Implementation:
∎ Project Management: Overseeing the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems during construction. Overseeing construction equipment like a batching plant, excavator, roller, generator, etc.
∎ Quality Assurance: Ensuring that mechanical systems meet design specifications and regulatory requirements.
∎ Problem Solving: Addressing any challenges or issues that arise during the construction phase related to mechanical systems.
∎ Maintenance and Operation: Providing support for the maintenance and operation of mechanical systems post-construction.
∎ Upgrades and Retrofits: Evaluating and recommending upgrades or retrofits to improve system efficiency or performance over time.
∎ Compliance: Ensuring ongoing compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
∎ Technical Expertise:Technical Analysis: Conducting analysis, simulations, and calculations to optimize system performance.
∎ Innovation: Keeping abreast of new technologies and innovations in mechanical engineering that can be applied to construction projects.
