Job Responsibilities:
∎ To design and detail components/assemblies as it relates to the manufacturing and assembly of house hold appliances.
∎ To sketch ideas for conceptual brainstorming as well as for presentation
∎ To develop products by transmitting concept to production
∎ To create visual and functional prototypes for research and internal review
∎ To experiment assumptions and think innovatively to solve complex problems creatively
∎ To disseminate design intent to factories by creating technical specifications, detailing, finishes, color, graphics, etc.
∎ To maintain quality assurance standards for design and color integrity throughout the product lifecycle
∎ To collaborate with engineering and product marketing to innovate, design and implement simple and elegant design solutions
∎ To perform any other duties as required
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Should have design oriented mindset and passion to design products that capture the minds and hearts of consumers both on an aesthetic and functional level
∎ Should have strong understanding of mechanical engineering and part design, and ability to deliver clear CAD to engineering and manufacturing.
∎ Should have knowledge of current trends, materials and innovations within the design and small appliances
∎ Should have strong analytical ability with proven strength in suggesting creative solutions and innovative ideas
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.
