Job Context:
∎ Job Location: Banskhali, Chattogram Site Office.
∎ Mechanical Commissioning Engineer is responsible for ensuring mechanical completion of systems like flushing, steam flowing cleaning, and getting the systems ready for start-up and commissioning of 660MW Supercritical Power Plant specifically in Boiler/ Turbine/ BOP systems. He shall be responsible for start-up and Commissioning together with the EPC contractor`s commissioning team.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Inspection and witnessing of various mechanical systems commissioning of 2X 660MW Coal Fired Power Plant.
∎ Perform TOP walk-downs, identification of construction and commissioning punch points,
∎ Perform inspections & flushing/cleaning of all mechanical systems in the Boiler/ Turbine/ BOP area. Functional checks & ensuring the proper functioning of all mechanical systems in the Boiler/ Turbine/ BOP area.
∎ Participates in regularly scheduled Commissioning progress meetings with EPC Contractor.
∎ Review start-up Procedures and other vendor documentation.
∎ Plant Startup & Tuning, Red-markup to site-specific drawings.
∎ Strong Team player with good Communications skills.
∎ Ability to solve problems and drive for safe & reliable plant start-up/commissioning.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7-10 year(s) in experience in Power Plants of at least 2 units of 300 MW each or 1 unit of 500 MW plus capacity in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
