Educational Requirements:
∎ Medical graduate (M.B.B.S) with BMDC registration. MPH degree with data analysis skill will be preferred. Minimum 3 years of working experience required

Job Context:
∎ RTM International is going to appoint skilled/experienced professionals to provide Sexual and Reproductive Health Services to the Rohingya and host population of Ukhiya & Teknaf upazilas of cox’s Bazar. The required qualification and experiences for the position is given below:
∎ Location : RTMI Field Office, Cox’s Bazar.
∎ Report to: PC/PM
∎ Project Overview:
∎ Emergency health projects targeting Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMN) and vulnerable host populations in Bangladesh. Development projects aimed at long-term and sustainable behavior change in general & FDMN population and state health employees to improve public health outcomes.
∎ Workplace & Conditions:
∎ The position is based in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar

Job Responsibilities:
∎ RTMI is an active partner of the Sexual and Reproductive Health Working Group (SRH-WG) and the Community Health Working Group (CHW-WG) in the Rohingya refugee crisis in Cox’s Bazar. RTMI works in partnership with UNFPA to implement the Maternal and Perinatal Mortality Surveillance and Response System (MPMSR) by the SRH-WG. The Maternal and Neonatal Health Coordination and Monitoring Officer will play an important role in the community based women of reproductive age (WRA) surveillance and the response to improve maternal and neonatal health of the vulnerable populations in the working area of RTMI. Primary responsibility of the position will be coordination and supporting the MPMSR committee and the Sub-committee on the issues related to Maternal and Neonatal mortality and particularly WRA surveillance. Additionally, he/she will be the coordination focal for the community based WRA surveillance through the CHWG partners. The primary responsibilities will include overall management and coordination of the community based WRA and program management and development of community-based surveillance system, staff supervision, technical assistance and capacity building, analysis, representation and coordination.
∎ Key Activity Areas:
∎ Provide coordination, technical and management support to the community based women of reproductive age (WRA) surveillance for the MPMSR committee.
∎ Liaising with all the Health sector, SRH-WG and the CHWG partners for the implementation of the WRA surveillance.
∎ Coordinate with the midwives of Verbal Autopsy team and the CHW-WG partners to conduct and monitor verbal autopsies on the ground.
∎ Managing the information management system and the data for the WRA surveillance and verbal autopsy data base.
∎ Conduct data analysis and writing report periodically.
∎ Represent the key findings in different platforms to inform the situation of maternal and neonatal deaths in the whole camp area segregated on the basis of camps.
∎ Conduct annual and semi-annual performance reviews for technical staff, often in collaboration with Field Coordinators in relevant field sites.
∎ Any other tasks deemed necessary to achieve the objectives of the process and to smooth the conduction of the Verbal Autopsy.
∎ Act with integrity and professionalism and in accordance with RTM-UNFPA’s Code of Conduct at all times.
∎ Planning:
∎ Ensure coordination & management with the program team & ensure quality assurance of the data collected for verbal autopsy & follow up with the program and RTMI to ensure the plan is implemented.
∎ Documentation:
∎ Prepare daily & weekly progress report (warehouse activities) regularly & share the report with Sr. Project Manager.
∎ Maintain asset list and submit monthly revisions to the Project coordinator & Sr. Project Manager.
∎ Periodical report writing and conduct data analysis wth proper documentation.
∎ Communication:
∎ Maintain a transparent, honest, and supportive communication structure with colleagues to ensure they are kept informed of applicable family planning activities and requirements.
∎ Develop and maintain positive relationship & coordination with suppliers, local authorities, other NGOs, and any other stakeholders, representing RTMI and ensuring good co-operation and partnerships.
∎ Quality & Compliance:
∎ Ensure the compliant with RTMI-UNFPA guidelines, policies, and procedures, and adherent to any applicable donor guidelines.
∎ Be aware of the potential for loss or fraud in family planning activities and procedures. Proactively work to prevent such occurrences by working with relevant line managers to improve transparency and ensure the best use of RTMI assets and resources.
∎ Ensure all relevant staff receive training, advice, and coaching regarding family planning procedures, internal controls, and the requirements of donors.

∎ Work experience in stock management, preferably in the Rohingya Refugee Contest & NGO settings.
∎ Able to work under pressure & complete the task in timely manner.
∎ Competent with administrative tasks. Problem-solving ability. Attention to detail.
∎ Quick learner with a practical, precise approach.
∎ Depending on RTMI activities and needs, your responsibilities may be adapted and evolve according to the specific projects.
