∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ At least bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
∎ Master's degree will be preferrable
∎ Minimum 15 years of total experience
∎ Minimum 8 years of experience of working in Bangladesh Railway projects.
∎ Experience of working as Material Engineer in minimum three (3) large infrastructure projects
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Verify the Contractor's procedures for material testing and the setting up of the materials testing laboratory
∎ Verify that all materials used in the execution of the Project fully meet the specification
∎ Verify the Contractor's steel fabrication plant and girder assembling to ensure that all steel girders fabricated/assembled fully meet the specification.
∎ Verify the Contractor's concrete production plant and concrete trial mixes to ensure that all concrete grades produced fully meet the specification.
