∎ Master degree in Finance or Accounting, CACC , Taxation and VAT related field; professional VAT qualification is preferred.
∎ Minimum of 7 years of experience in VAT management or indirect tax roles.
∎ In-depth knowledge of local and international VAT laws.
∎ Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
∎ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
∎ Proficient in tax software applications and Microsoft Excel.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement VAT strategies that align with the company's financial goals and comply with local tax regulations.
∎ Coordinate the preparation and submission of accurate VAT returns in a timely manner.
∎ Conduct regular reviews of VAT processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
∎ Provide expert advice on VAT implications related to business transactions, ensuring optimal tax positions are achieved.
∎ Liaise with tax authorities during audits and inquiries, representing the company professionally.
∎ Ensure accurate and timely filing of VAT returns and payment of VAT liabilities.
∎ Maintain accurate records of VAT transactions, including invoices, receipts, and expenses.
∎ Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and rules, including registration, reporting, and payment requirements.
∎ Maintain purchase register, Sales register, Mushak Challan, VAT returns and all other register as per VAT and SD Act, 2012.
∎ Prepare and Submit Monthly VAT Returns through online in due time.
∎ Maintain VAT software as per Govt. Rules.
∎ Prepare and Submit 4.3 (Input-Output Co-efficient)
∎ Handling VAT Audit conducted by VAT Authorities and other Govt. Auditors.
∎ Represent the company in legal proceedings as well as maintaining liaison with the concerned VAT, Customs and Govt. Offices.
∎ Maintain Bank related works applicable for VAT purposes
∎ Maintaining file and documents related VAT & Taxes in accounts department.
∎ Monthly, Quarterly, Half-yearly & Annual VAT Returns and documentations
∎ Prepare VAT registers, Mushak: 6.1, 6.3, 6.1, 6.5, 6.6, VAT & Tax Challan & VAT return report
∎ Calculation TDS & VDS for Supply bill PaymentPrecise application of TDS & VDS as per prevailing laws and regulations
∎ Customs Duty & Taxes & SD Calculations and Landed Cost Sheet Preparation.
∎ Train and mentor junior staff on VAT-related matters, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
∎ Stay up-to-date with changes in VAT legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of VAT considerations into business operations.
