Job Context:
∎ Baraka Group is a leading power generation-oriented Group of Companies. The Group maintains a diversified portfolio consisting four power generating companies, one 100% export oriented readymade garments and a securities company, while investing in other areas including education, real estates and healthcare sectors.
∎ Baraka Group is looking for an experienced, energetic, dynamic, talented and aspiring candidate as Manager/Senior Manager- Commercial. The person will be act as a change agent to accelerate process development of commercial department and lead the company in the next level amplifying business and meaningfully contribute to the efforts to reach the organization`s goal.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Working closely with the Head of Commercial to develop and implement the commercial strategy for the business.
∎ Understanding the value drivers of the business and identifying profitable commercial opportunities to grow revenue and market share.
∎ Monitor the Local and International shipping documents and Follow-up with supplier to ensure timely delivery of products/service.
∎ Monitor and communicate for C&F formalities and to ensure the delivery arrangement of product at designated location.
∎ Maintain Liaison with BPDP, IRDA, NBR, Customs, CCI&E, Rajuk, Fire service, DOE, Boiler and DCC office.
∎ Take proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovation in all aspects of the job.
∎ Explore new business opportunity with the existing business expansion persuasion with different Govt. organization as & when requested by management’s instruction.
∎ Encourage effective team work within the department to communicate and build effective working relationships with the suppliers and other departments.
∎ Ensuring that all commercial activities meet or improve on budget, cost, volume and efficiency targets in line with business objectives.
∎ Any other responsibilities as and when assigned by the top management.

∎ Strong oral and written communication skill both in Bengali and English is must.
∎ Have sound Knowledge of International and Local laws regarding Import/ Export to & from Bangladesh.
∎ Smart, energetic, problem solving, self - motivated, confident, proactive and target oriented.
∎ Strong leadership skills and proven strategic aptitude and ability
∎ Must be updated on the latest Customs and International Trade Laws is essential to be proficient in this position.
∎ IT proficiency is a must in MS Office package (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
∎ Knowledge about handle of Port and Customs Operation effectively.
∎ Should have good analytical ability and highest level of professional integrity.
∎ Must have sufficient knowledge in international business, Trading, Negotiation, Customs/Bank/Export /LC/Freight Forwarding/ C&F/ Supply Chain.
∎ Must have sound knowledge with VAT, Board of Investment.
