∎ BSc in Automobiles will get preference.
∎ Minimum 10 years of experience in transport/logistics management.
∎ Proven experience managing a fleet and a team of drivers.
∎ Strong knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards.
∎ Proficiency in transport management software and MS Office Suite.
∎ Valid driving license (preferred).

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Plan, organize, and manage the operations of transportation to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods/services.
∎ Monitor vehicle routing, scheduling, and tracking.
∎ Manage and maintain the vehicle fleet, including maintenance schedules, insurance, and documentation.
∎ Ensure compliance with transport regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
∎ Supervise and train drivers and support staff, including performance management.
∎ Control budgets, costs, and fuel usage to maximize efficiency and minimize expenses.
∎ Develop and implement transport strategies to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
∎ Handle transport-related incidents, accidents, or emergencies.
∎ Collaborate with other departments such as warehousing, sales, and procurement to coordinate logistics.
∎ Oversee regular vehicle inspection, servicing and repair.
∎ Work closely with maintenance team and external service providers to minimize downtime.
∎ Ensure that all vehicles pass regular inspections and comply with roadworthiness and safety standard.
∎ Maintain accurate transport records & reports.
∎ Job Summary:
∎ We are seeking an experienced and organized Transport Manager to oversee the daily operations of transportation department under Jamuna Tyres Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing vehicle fleets, coordinating transport schedules, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing logistics efficiency, and leading the transport team to deliver safe, timely, and cost-effective transport solutions.
