Job Context:
∎ The METAL group companies, established in the year 1987, is a pioneer in Agri-mechanization in Bangladesh. Although Agriculture is the core business of the group, Metal is also involved in the maintenance of Telecommunication services of big names like Grameenphone, Robi etc. and all major tower sharing companies in Bangladesh.
∎ Metal Plus limited is planning to recruit some bright and dynamic individuals under its Power-tech Division, who will make a difference and drive towards success. Applicants must have the highest ethical standards, strong leadership skills, excellent judgment, a sense of personal initiative and problem-solving abilities

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The overall performance of the Transport operation including the management of our 3rd party supplier to defined KPI’s (Cost / service)
∎ Development and execution of the transport agenda to generate further benefit for the business (availability improvements / cost reduction)
∎ Ensuring operational excellence culture is embedded throughout the Transport operation leading to improved availability for our customers
∎ Development of small internal Transport team, whilst ensuring appropriate transport structure exists in our 3rd party operator
∎ Ensuring absolute compliance with regards to Health & Safety and legislation
∎ Interfaces with Region Supply Managers to evaluate alternative supply networks that optimize cost and service objectives while considering changes in business and customer profiles
∎ Ensures that vehicle capital investments yield a favorable return
∎ Leading the Delivery Planning and Scheduling Team
∎ Monitor and ensure vehicles operation in compliance with as per Copany’s rules and regulations.
∎ Maintain and monitor data management system to organize vehicles as per various schedules and requests.
∎ Streamline and monitor fuel purchase system with assistance of Fuel for all vehicles and drivers.
∎ Develop and implement standard operational standards to maintain vehicles by advocating best practices in Metal.
∎ Plan, process and execute vehicle rent and vehicle replacement through efficient settlement.
∎ Development of Road Transport Safety Strategy.
∎ Ensure & Develop Supplier code of conduct
∎ Management of Road Transport Strategy Initiative.
∎ Able to conduct RTS(Road Transport Strategy) and HSSE audits
∎ Ensure safety work procedures are fully complied
∎ Conduct site inspection to ensure rules are adhered to legislative requirements
∎ Ensure all permits/ licenses are in place
∎ Ensure permit to work system are carried out
∎ Ensure that equipment are sent are safe for processing.
∎ Conduct sites and road checks on transport fleets.
∎ Development, Implementation, Review of all Safety Procedures & Process
∎ Maintain and Management of all Transport Licenses
∎ Able to conduct incident investigations to identify underlying causes
∎ Carry out any other jobs as assigned from time to time.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Proven work experience as a Transport & HSSE Manager
∎ Excellent communication and leadership skills
∎ Self-starter & proactive
∎ Good interpersonal skill
∎ Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
∎ Strong writing and record keeping ability for HSSE and vehicle's documentation
∎ Good computer, database and power point skills
∎ Sound knowledge in Bangladesh Labor law & rules
