Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Explore local and international markets for potential vendors and proceed with enlistment
∎ Source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors to develop cost-effective and innovative procurement strategies
∎ Conduct negotiations with shortlisted suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms
∎ Lead the RFT/RFQ/RFP process and supplier selection aligned with approved budgets
∎ Prepare and review bid summaries, including comparative evaluations on lead time, warranty, payment terms, and stock availability
∎ Generate and manage Purchase Orders (PO) with necessary approvals, and follow up with suppliers until delivery
∎ Prepare landed costing for import products
∎ Prepare and submit LC documentation to banks
∎ Maintain communication with internal departments regarding:LC & order statusShipment and vessel trackingCustoms process coordinationDelivery planning based on inventory
