Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Taking custodianship of company's overall product stock/inventory.
∎ Planning, directing & monitoring the operations of all warehouses/showrooms and ensure full professional store management system.
∎ Ensuring materials on time storage, proper inventory, inspection and reporting to the management for smooth decision as per business plan.
∎ To coordinate with commercial import team for on time materials in-house and update to the management for smooth sales plan.
∎ Follow up daily activities in ERP system and prepare report and send to the management for acknowledgement.
∎ Oversee the safe receipt, storage, inventory, retrieval and materials timely in-house as per plan.
∎ Creating & implementing supply chain strategy, policies, SOP for smooth operation.
∎ Finding cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.
∎ Monitoring, supervising and evaluating employees under Supply Chain.
∎ Inventory Planning based on monthly demand.
∎ Conducting periodical inventory audit in showrooms/warehouses.
∎ Ensuring maintenance & update of all supply chain related documents/ledger.
∎ Ensuring smooth delivery/distribution of company's all products in all over Bangladesh.
∎ Store and inventory SOP implementation for smooth operation of the company.
∎ Ensuring cleanliness, safety and security of warehouses/showrooms as well as for the employees.
∎ Report time to time on aging/ long time unsold products and inform to respective departments and management.
∎ Conduct training for supply chain employees to improve their skill and capability.
∎ Conduct training for basic compliance, health & safety, loading, unloading and fire safety etc.
∎ Maintain regular communications with all the department Heads for smooth operation.
∎ To coordinate External all relevant like commercial team, procurement team, account team, planning team, sales team and transport provider for smooth business.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by top management.
∎ Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER to lead & supervise company’s full supply chain team and to take responsibility of overall inventory & distribution system. Candidates must have minimum 8-10 years’ working experience only in supply chain or inventory & distribution management. Vintage Engineering Limited is an agricultural, industrial machineries and various hand & power tools’ import based company under GETCO Group. So, candidates are from EEE or MECHANICAL ENGINEERING background and having experience from machineries item import/trading based company will get priority.
