Job Context:
∎ ACI Motors is one of the most growing subsidiaries of ACI Limited. We have Agricultural Machinery, Automobile, Infrastructural Development Machinery, Generator and other machinery in our product line. ACI Motors has a strong market position in the motorcycle industry with its premium brand Yamaha.
∎ Job Location: ACI Centre, Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitor supply chain operations and ensure all activities meet regulatory requirements.
∎ Ensure all records and documents are maintained according to supply chain best practices and relevant laws.
∎ Deal different issues with regulatory bodies like BIDA, different ministries, NBR, Customs particularly for automobile industry.
∎ Maintain communication with foreign principals and suppliers.
∎ Oversee all the documentation and activities related to issuance and monitoring of LC.
∎ Regularly monitor motorcycle import related laws and take appropriate measures.
∎ Manage different regulatory requirements with Customs.
∎ Support business in the development of supply chain policies, procedures and processes and Contribute to supply chain planning.
∎ Ensure efficiency in inventory management with proper uses of different methods (LIFO, FIFO etc.).
∎ Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance in the automobile industry (Preferably motorcycle).
∎ Strong knowledge of import-related law.
∎ Ability to digitally process supply chain data.
∎ Social linkage with the regulatory body and strong social capital.
