Educational Requirements:
∎ Master in any discipline preferably in Supply Chain Management.
∎ Post-Graduation Diploma in Supply Chain Management is preferable.
∎ Educational qualification may be relaxed for highly experienced applicant
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Civil Construction, Ready Mix Concrete
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement purchase policy in accordance with company policy.
∎ Conduct market survey to identify potential suppliers based on quality, cost and reliability. Establish professional relationships with vendors and suppliers.
∎ Create new sources of suppliers.
∎ Collaborate with other internal departments of the company to identify their requirements for equipment, materials and products. Accordingly Collect quotations/ PI from vendors as per their requirement.
∎ Prepare comparative statement and negotiate rates, quality and procurement terms & conditions with the suppliers/vendors.
∎ Finalize the appropriate vendors with best rates, quality & services and issue Purchase Order/ Indent after approval of Chief Executive Officer.
∎ Follow up with vendors till delivery of products and take corrective actions if any discrepancies are found while receiving/checking the products.
∎ Ensure that all the requisite and approved commodities are available and all procured commodities meet the required quality standards and specifications
∎ Open local LC as well as International LC/LCA.
∎ Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
∎ Preparing detail reports on procurement and deliveries.
∎ Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
∎ Travel to vendor locations.
∎ Make routine tours to company projects and ensure smooth supply chain operation.
∎ Keep up to date with market trends, new products, and pricing changes to ensure that the company is competitive in its procurement activities.
∎ Any other job assigned by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Local and international Procurement, price negotiation, supply chain management
∎ Good communication and negotiation skills
∎ Deep understanding of the local market, suppliers, and vendors
∎ Should have knowledge on international purchase procedure.
∎ Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
∎ Should be able to work under pressure
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
