Job Context:
∎ Ability to work hard, honest, sincere, proactive, self-motivated, energetic and coordinate with higher Management.
∎ Problem diagnosis and solving ability in operational aspects and knowhow with appropriate knowledge.
∎ Ability to arrange appropriate contractors, suppliers, workman for assigned job and get the work done ensuring perfect workmanship.
∎ Computer skills on word processing, spreadsheet, Internet applications and relevant computer programs.
∎ Moderate writing and oral Communication skills particularly in Bangla and English.
∎ Proven Experience in performing the said responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Frequently Visit and communicate to targeted customers i.e freight forwarders, MLO (Main line operator), importers & C&F agents.
∎ Demonstrate company’s service areas to respective customers and negotiate service tariff for business confirmation.
∎ Survey customers need and competitors’ strength, strategy and presence in the market.
∎ Report to senior officials in written regarding all the sales and business information with required action plan.
∎ Closely co-ordinate with depot operation team and customers to achieve customers satisfaction collectively.
∎ Create sustainable customer base and thereby achieve monthly sales target. Reply to the queries of customers and take part in sales Compliance or marketing for promoting company’s business as and when it is required.
∎ Co-ordinate with all departments such as IT, Admin, Workshop, Equipment, Security, Construction and Maintenance, CFS, CSD for proper functioning also with the Account Department for ensuring collection of all necessary charges.
∎ Co-ordination with our customers such as MLOs, Freight Forwarders, C&F Agents, Importers, Exporters and different vendors of company including labour contractors in order to ensure adequate and on time sales promotion.
∎ Taking proper decisions in performing above responsibilities subject to consultation with management and taking further corrective measures
∎ A part of above shall have to comply with and perform any other responsibilities which to be assigned time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ The applicants should have minimum 9 -10 years working experience in performing above responsibilities in the areas of Freight Forwarding, MLO, NVOCC, Warehousing, Logistics Company & Off-Docks.
Salary: Negotiable
