Manager – QMS (Sweaters)

Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable quality standards.

Develop and maintain quality policies, SOPs, work instructions, and procedures.

Ensure implementation of buyer-specific quality requirements.

Monitor quality performance across all production departments.

Ensure quality control from yarn receiving to final packing.

Conduct internal quality audits and process audits.

Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Perform root cause analysis of recurring quality problems.

Monitor knitting quality, including gauge (GG), stitch structure, panel measurements, and knitting defects.

Monitor linking quality, seam strength, stitch matching, and workmanship.

Monitor washing quality, shrinkage, color changes, and measurement stability.

Ensure compliance with approved samples, technical specifications, and buyer requirements.

Review in-line, end-line, and final inspection reports.

Analyze defect rates, rework, rejection, and customer complaints.

Investigate buyer complaints and implement corrective actions.

Coordinate with knitting, linking, washing, finishing, quality control, and merchandising departments.

Develop and deliver QMS and quality awareness training for employees.

Maintain QMS documentation, records, audit reports, and quality procedures.

Monitor supplier quality issues and coordinate corrective actions.

Ensure proper implementation of quality checkpoints throughout production.

Monitor quality-related KPIs and prepare periodic performance reports.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and production losses.

Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions and prevent recurrence.

Prepare quality performance reports for top management.

Conduct management reviews of quality performance and improvement plans.

Ensure proper control of non-conforming products.

Ensure calibration and verification of measuring equipment, where applicable.

Monitor compliance with buyer audit requirements and follow up on findings.

Promote a quality-focused culture throughout the factory.
