Responsibilities & Context:
∎ 1. Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with business goals, enhancing production continuity and supporting growth.
∎ 2. Identify, evaluate, and manage both local and international suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
∎ 3. Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, building relationships to secure competitive and sustainable supplier agreements.
∎ 4. Establish and enforce procurement policies to standardize sourcing, purchasing, and compliance processes.
∎ 5. Oversee customs documentation, import/export regulations, and adherence to industry standards, including VAT, NBR, and customs requirements.
∎ 6. Develop risk management strategies to ensure supply chain continuity and proactively minimize disruptions.
∎ 7. Collaborate with production, logistics, and warehousing teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, avoiding stockouts or excess inventory.
∎ 8. Coordinate material movement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and avoid disruptions.
∎ 9. Partner with Production, Operations, Quality Control, Finance, and other relevant teams to align procurement with company goals.
