With a strong commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a dedicated Manager of operations and supply chain to oversee and optimize our retail business, with a primary focus on supply chain management.Job Description:Position Summary: As a Manager of Operations & Supply Chain (Retail Business), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our retail stores, from head office to shop floor. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective supply chain strategies, streamline processes, and drive operational excellence across all retail locations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve operational efficiency and deliver a world-class shopping experience to our customers.Key Responsibilities:1) Retail Shop Operations:Oversee the day-to-day operations of retail shops, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.Implement visual merchandising standards to enhance the customer shopping experience and drive sales.Collaborate with store managers to set and achieve sales targets and operational KPIs.2) Supply Chain Management: Develop and execute supply chain strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement, inventory management, and product distribution to retail locations.Monitor and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts.Establish strong vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms to improve procurement efficiency.3) Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains, then develop and implement solutions.Streamline supply chain processes, from order placement to product delivery, to reduce lead times and costs.Continuously evaluate and optimize retail shop layouts, inventory management, and staffing.4) Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of supply chain and retail operations professionals.Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.5) Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilise data analytics to assess performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.Prepare regular reports for senior management on key performance metrics and operational improvements.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Proven experience in supply chain management and retail operations, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, and procurement.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using supply chain and retail management software/tools.
