Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in nursing under Bangladesh Nursing Council.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Have the ability to supervise and control the whole team member of nursing department (Nurses and PCA)
∎ Prepare and maintain duty roster, check daily attendance of nursing department.
∎ Have the capability to solve day to day problems in the nursing staff.
∎ Maintain nursing guidelines by updating policies and procedures.
∎ Maintain nursing operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing policies and procedure.
∎ Maintain nursing and auxiliary staff by helping requirement.
∎ Establishes a compassionate environment by providing spiritual emotional and psychological support to patients and patient attendance.
∎ Manager Nursing will ensure every day bed side teaching for nursing staff.
∎ Manager Nursing will work as a team member of all Consultants, Junior Consultants, Registrar and departmental in-charge.
∎ Manager Nursing will suggest the administration on the improvement of the Nursing services i.e. recruitment of nursing staff and Nurses training.
∎ Manager Nursing will responsible to ensure hospital hygiene and infection, will take necessary steps for hospital hygiene and infection control.
∎ Promotes patient's counseling and their understanding of disease, medications and self-care skills.
∎ Ensure information to health care team members and patients by answering questions and requests.
∎ Resolves patient needs by utilising multidisciplinary team approach.
∎ Ensure safe and clean working environment by calling for assistance from other health care professionals.
∎ Maintains documentation and records of patient care services.
