∎ Age 32 to 42 years
∎ Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, HVAC, and plumbing in an industrial setting.
∎ Proficiency in using CAD software for mechanical design and layout planning.
∎ Strong leadership and team management skills.
∎ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
∎ Familiarity with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
∎ Experience in the personal care or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry.
∎ Exposure to personal care, cosmetic, or similar production environments is a plus.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the mechanical engineering activities for the new personal care manufacturing plant.
∎ Supervise the installation, commissioning, and testing of mechanical equipment and systems.
∎ Ensure the factory layout design and mechanical systems meet production requirements, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
∎ Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for the supply and installation of machinery and equipment.
∎ Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for all mechanical systems and equipment within the plant.
∎ Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.
∎ Ensure compliance with operational safety and quality standards.
∎ Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers, technicians, and other technical staff.
∎ Provide training and development to the team on the latest mechanical technologies, safety protocols, and maintenance procedures.
∎ Oversee mechanical project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and adherence to budget constraints.
∎ Identify opportunities to optimize energy consumption, reduce costs, and improve equipment efficiency.
∎ Ensure adherence to local regulations, safety standards, and quality systems.
∎ Maintain accurate documentation of mechanical systems, equipment, maintenance schedules, and operational procedures.
∎ Work closely with other departments such as electrical, quality assurance, production, and safety to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Act as the point of contact for any mechanical-related matters during the project phase and post-production phase.
∎ Identify and implement mechanical engineering solutions to enhance plant performance, reliability, and production capacity.
∎ Suggest and oversee the installation of modern technologies that enhance mechanical efficiency.
