Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters/ MBA in Logistics Management/ Supply Chain Management/ Management/ Accounting
∎ PGDSCM/ CIPS/ Diploma in logistics management is preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
∎ Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
∎ Liaise and negotiate with factory, retailors, dealers, consumers for delivery
∎ Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
∎ Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipments
∎ Resolve any arising problems or complaints
∎ Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
∎ Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
∎ Maintain metrics and analyses data to assess performance and implement improvements
∎ Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
∎ Supervision of Store function
∎ Coordination with local Accounts department in day to day activities
∎ Coordination with Testing and other logistics department
∎ Assisting/Handling Data Entry Software (Oracle) in day to day function
∎ Hire, train and evaluate employees if requirement arise
∎ Assignment from management from time to time
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7 to 10 year(s) in Ceramics/Cement Sector.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): (Commercial, Logistic)
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Willing to travel as per job requirements
∎ Proficient knowledge on Microsoft Office Suit (specially in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word; MS Access is preferred)
∎ Analytically competent for quick decision making in case of branding concept and brand designing
∎ Able to work independently and under pressure
∎ Highly conversant both in oral and written communications
∎ Career focused and achievement oriented
∎ Understands business needs
