Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): dry food processing., Food and Beverage, Food Production, Spice Processing Unit
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)

Job Context:
∎ Seeking a technically sound chemist for various FMCG food product developments, standardizations and quality assurance with overall leadership capability for its manufacturing process independently.
∎ Vacancy: Current / Immediate

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Position Goals:
∎ Ownership of quality standard of all products.
∎ Product standardization.
∎ Operate and manage manufacturing and packaging operation.
∎ Research / identify product quality enhancement, operational efficiency improvement, cost reduction opportunities continually.
∎ Be up to date with consumer standards and regulatory requirements.
∎ Operate and manage company ERP.
∎ Utilizing formulation software to create and update formulations.
∎ Communicating with relevant parties regarding food quality and safety concerns.
∎ Working on new product developments.
∎ Updating product information sheets for sales preparation and updated labels.
∎ Preserving R&D Documents and follow up the requirements as per ISO 22000:2005.
∎ Independent laboratory testing.
∎ Adhering to safety regulations.
∎ Performing other duties assigned by Management
∎ Basic knowledge on ISO, HACCP, HALAL, BSTI etc.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s) direct mid management experience work experience at relevant industry.
∎ Preferred areas of experience:
∎ Ground spices
∎ Process and packing operations for dry and viscose products
∎ Testing methods [internal and external] and standardization
∎ Team and operations leadership
∎ Preferred areas of experience: Ground spices

∎ Sound knowledge of food standards and parameters.
∎ Established relationship with external testing facilities and relevant authorities.

∎ Handle multiple activities/projects simultaneously and ensure its accurate and timely completion.
∎ Willing to travel.
∎ Ability to use internal and external sources to make technical scientific advances.
∎ Proven ability of working in a laboratory.
∎ Knowledge and understanding of data science.
