Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for providing Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) engineering design review, coordination, code input, construction technical support and operation & maintenance of existing plants / machineries.
∎ Review and respond to the designs, drawings, specifications and work schedule submitted by contractors, sub-contractors and vendors.
∎ Lead the preparation of detailed estimates, forecasts, and change orders for all MEP systems & sub-systems.
∎ Execute and supervise all electrical, mechanical, plumbing & sanitary works and fire-fighting works for all projects & maintenance areas in accordance with specifications, cost, and quality.
∎ Monitor the installation, testing & commissioning works of all types of electrical, mechanical, plumbing & sanitary systems and sub-systems.
∎ Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and maintenance activities under MEP systems.
∎ Ensure work is executed according to contract specifications, approved design / drawings, agreed on procedures, and method statements
∎ Implement strict adherence to safety rules and regulations
∎ Prepare routine and ad-hoc reports, with the objective of keeping the HOD informed about all issues relating to MEP activities and taking necessary action thereof as per the guidance of the HOD.
∎ Assist HOD in Designing, Drafting and Simulation of working components, tools, and machine parts etc. as per requirements. Maintain drawings, data, specification sheets for all related to tools, task and process for ready references.
∎ Assist HOD in developing specifications for determining materials, equipment, material flows, capacities and layout of plants or systems.
∎ Supervises in consultation with other engineers during erection and commissioning of plant facilities.
∎ Assist HOD for determining standards for installation, modification, quality control, testing and inspection according to engineering principles and safety regulations. Sets up work control systems to ensure that standards of performance, quality, cost and safety are met in line with the international & local codes requirements.
∎ Co-ordinate activities with Bio-medical engineering, Medical & Nursing Services and Management staff for enhancing overall service excellency.
