Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
∎ Graduates from BUET, RUET, CUET, KUET, DUET will be given preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan, develop and prepare BOQ, Budget and related reports on small-scale to large-scale construction project in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
∎ Select construction materials appropriated for civil/construction works
∎ Monitor progress and compile reports in project status of Civil-Building Project
∎ Manage budget and purchase equipment and materials
∎ Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required
∎ Preparation of tender documents and submission as per tender document conditions
∎ Rate analyses and selection of final rate for tender submission.
∎ Searching and selection of experienced company / firm as joint venture company as per requirement of tender document qualification criteria.
∎ Develop an in-house team capable of and responsible for all type of tender and government contract works.
∎ Solely responsible for procure / acquire government contract and tender of any method.
∎ Responsible for overall timely implementation of Projects, maintaining the quality, workmanship and within the approved budget.
∎ Responsible for the business budget and projects' profit and loss.
∎ Analyze the Construction sectors to identify the best strategy and development plan.
∎ Gather, prepare, and present information to the senior management on proposed projects in order to obtain approvals.
∎ Supervision of construction as per design and drawing like Architectural, Structural, Plumbing and Electrical system of projects.
∎ Perform in planning, designing and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and facilities.
∎ Coordinating with all the relevant departments to ensure smooth operation.
∎ Prepare monthly and yearly budget for projects.
∎ Resolving the issue related to project implementation with prior approval from management whenever applicable.
∎ Prepare project budget in details and allocate the resources accordingly considering expenses to ensure the desired profit.
∎ Develop project execution plan and manage the individual projects.
∎ Monitor deviations from budget and take corrective action to meet established goals.
∎ Provide strategic leadership for the organization by closely working with the management to establish short-, medium- and long-term business goals, strategies, plans and policies.
∎ Any other task assigned by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ Civil Construction works, Civil Engineering.
∎ Applicant should have cost budget experience in large volume of government building projects.
∎ Well conversant with MS Office applications, AutoCAD, MS Project, Estimation Software etc.
∎ Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc
∎ Project management and supervision skills
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Should have License/ Membership of professional organization.
∎ Lead the project development team.
∎ Maintain a close liaison / relation with government, semi government and autonomous bodies responsible for all type of development works.
∎ Collecting information of all tender for construction, works, supply of goods and similar works
