Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for Leading Team.
∎ Responsible for Market Survey on regular basis.
∎ Any other activities when required by management. Frequent corresponding and maintain liason with banks.
∎ Export import related tasks.
∎ Import LC Opening
∎ Export documents negotiations.
∎ Negotiate with suppliers, Opening L/C, Insurance processing, dealing with C&F agents and Forwarding Agent.
∎ Preserve, maintain and deliver all sort of import documentation
∎ Maintain communication with importer through email and phone communication
∎ Follow up and provide LC to supplier within stipulated time-frame.
∎ Maintaining critical liaison with suppliers, Port authority, Shipping agent, and Bank.
∎ Work closely with Accounts department.
∎ Database Management Responsible for all commercial activities such as Import, Export, UD, GSP, BOND ,tax ,vat and Cash Incentive.
∎ Keep communication & Work closely with Bank, EPB, BGMEA, BEPZA, General Bond Office, Customs, Shipping line, Freight forward and C & F and Port & Customs Officials including all governments' authorities.
∎ Handle Shipping line and transport-related concern authorities for smooth and timely delivery of goods and execution of import & export procedures.
∎ Ensure preparing all export & import documents on time.
∎ Follow up in maintaining pass book, Customs audit and related works in bond commissionrate.
∎ Regularly monitoring & tracking various stages of Export/Import as well as payment follow-up.
∎ Mentor/train team members and monitor their performance.
∎ To maintain various commercial activities for import and export.
∎ To conduct & process all kinds of L/C activities.
∎ Assist in preparation all files regarding opening of L/C and submit to bank as instructed.
∎ Maintain, updated import records/data and pricing in the system (SAP) as per prescribed format.
∎ Maintain continuous communication with all concerned department/team regard it products-L/C/order status, shipment status, vessel position & customs work process & planning delivery date to factory side.
∎ Take strategic decisions in accordance with the Company business mission and vision.
∎ Supervise and assign tasks to staff responsible for customs related commercial operations and ensure that tasks so assigned are completed in accordance with SOP meeting deadlines.
∎ Ensure Bond, Indemnity certificate and other various types of licenses from government authorities are collected including UD from association.
∎ Make sure all renewal of various certificates of the company.
∎ Ensure that pickup and delivery of the goods from port to factory or from factories/units to ports. Get delivery Challan signed and accepted by factory Warehouses.
∎ Delivered Information to C&F Office, port authorities, shipping lines for export or import of goods and also inform Merchandising Department about the consignment import or export.
∎ Follow-up with the C&F for the entry of the vehicle into the port area (or if the goods are to be taken to a private container terminal, the vehicle goes directly to the private depot).
∎ Follow-up appropriately so that the Port Authority or Private Depot records details of the truck/container and issues an entry pass allowing the truck/container to enter the controlled area.
∎ Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
