Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Business, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management, Master of Commerce (M.Com) in Supply Chain Management

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee all the import and export-related issues of the company and ensure all regulatory formalities relating to import and export in a cost-effective manner.
∎ Generate both short-term and long-term material planning for multiple manufacturing plants, in line with the latest actual and future forecasts.
∎ Forecast budget for Supply Chain department monthly, quarterly, and Yearly (Port Fee, Duty, handling, storage, and distribution cost).
∎ Liaises with Finance Department regarding the monthly budget of import & export department for L/C, customs, Tax/VAT and clearing cost.
∎ Develop Key Supply Chain at the local and international levels, to enable the delivery of operational execution excellence and the development of a strategic Supply Chain of the factory for smooth operation.
∎ Maintain Liaison and build up a satisfactory relationship with Customs/ Port Customs & Government authority relevant to our Business.
∎ Performs total landed cost calculation of import shipments & local supply chain.
∎ Files Insurance claims and follows up for payments/credit notes with the insurance company.
∎ Regularly monitoring & tracking various stages of Import and follow up daily Import, Delivery, Reporting, inform to concern department.
∎ Maintain an optimum inventory level to avoid overstock or shortages.
∎ Prepare Commercial invoice, packing list, Detail Packing list for export, and ensure online shipment booking & documentation for Export.
∎ Good knowledge for entire cash incentive procedure.
∎ Responsible for export statement & PRC on time.
∎ Any other commercial-related task as and when required by the management.
∎ Excellent sourcing knowledge for interaction & local procurement.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Analytical Skill, Export/ Import through L/C, Cash incentive claim.
∎ The candidate must have the following Professional Competencies:
∎ Progressive experience in Commercial Department.
∎ High standards of business ethics and professional conduct
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
∎ Capacity to organize time and plan actions effectively to meet simultaneous deadlines
∎ Strong interpersonal and negotiation skill
∎ Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics, Export/ Import through L/C/ SC/TT, Documentation (CI, PL, CO, BL), UCP600 and Incoterms 2010
∎ Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills, both written and oral English
∎ Strong Knowledge of Bangladesh Import & Export Policy
∎ Knowledgeable about CO(certificate of origin), NOC, GSP, CO/SAFTA/AFTA collecting procedure
∎ Able to prepare and provide required documents (CL, PL, etc.)
∎ Good knowledge of vendor management, C&F agent, and networking with NBR, Customs, and VAT authorities.
∎ Good knowledge of vendor development, international raw material pricing, and securing the smooth flow of raw materials in line with the production requirements.
∎ Good knowledge of export-related NBR formalities & HS code-related activities.
∎ Very good knowledge of MS Office applications and especially Excel
∎ Able to work independently.
