Educational Requirements:
∎ M.Pharm / Masters in any discipline with science background from any reputed public university or from any foreign University
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for Direct Procurement of Import COS grade, Domestic Raw Materials and Packing Materials
∎ Responsible for sourcing materials for new formulation product development as per timelines
∎ Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability
∎ Alternate supplier development from identification to approval in coordination with cross functional teams
∎ Control purchasing department budgets.
∎ Review & Monitoring of day to day requirements and ensuring that the materials are delivered in time
∎ Work with Suppliers and ensuring that the inventory is maintained
∎ Establish annual contracts with key suppliers in terms of qty.& price.
∎ Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials.
∎ Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers.
∎ Represent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers
∎ Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.
∎ Arrange for disposal of surplus materials.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 15 years relevant working experience in a reputed pharmaceutical company
∎ The candidates should have the experience in foreign purchase/procurement department.
∎ Well conversed with MS-Office.
∎ Should be energetic and dynamic person.
∎ Must be a very good team player and able to meet deadlines and achieve specified results.
