Job Context:
∎ Save the Children invites applications for the above mentioned position for MaMoni Maternal and New-born Care Strengthening Project (MaMoni MNCSP). Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply. Minimum requirements will be flexible for the potential female candidates.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Manager-Clinical Support will be focused on ensuring that there is focused efforts on improving the Quality of Care for Maternal and Newborn services. The incumbent will be responsible for capacity building of service providers in targeted facilities at different tiers (DH, MCWC, UHC and UH&FWC) by coaching and mentoring for quality MNH clinical service delivery as per national standard. S/he will coordinate with the managers and clinical experts in each facilities and support for facility readiness and adherence to the clinical protocol by the service providers at service delivery points. The Managers will also advocate for creating conducive environment of the midwives and for ensuring maximum utilization of them and will be responsible for ensuring the timely implementation and follow up of MNH-QI bundles. The position will support the District Implementation Manager, M&E Manager and PNGO staff in ensuring facility readiness for MNH care. S/he will maintain strong liaison with the regional team, other Managers-Clinical Support and national level thematic teams for harmonization and implementation of MNHQI activities.
∎ This position will be responsible for 2-3 districts which requires frequent travel to remote areas in order to coach and monitor district/upazila level people and activities. Their office will be located within a government premises i.e. CS/DDFP office, District hospital.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 6 years' experience in the area of maternal and newborn health programs, particularly in any clinical setting
∎ Demonstrated experience of working closely with the government agencies, especially with MOH&FW
∎ Experience of working with a large complex multi-partner team.
∎ Understanding of Maternal and Newborn Health SOPs
∎ Ability to coach and mentor people
∎ Understanding of data collection, review and interpretation
∎ Effective communication skill both in English and Bangla (verbal and written)
∎ Willingness to travel (at least 80% of time) in field areas
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet use
