Clearing and forwarding
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overseeing, Planning, controlling & monitoring day-to-day operations, indoor-outdoor functions of the custom sarkers, Jetty sarkers as well as office activities.
∎ Correspondence with Shipping Line, Carrier, Freight Forwarder, Co-loader, Customs high officials, BEPZA, Port Authority.
∎ Candidate must have a capability to run a CnF team in different location of the country,
∎ Responsible to execute, co-ordinate, monitor and manage export/import works.
∎ Co-ordinate in synchronization with Government Officials, Banks, Freight Forwarders, Transport for clearing Export/Import consignments by Sea / Air / Road.
∎ To execute, Monitoring shipment, Documentation and fast Customs Clearance of goods from the ports.
∎ To monitor and update customs formalities, entries in pass book in the port,
∎ Responsible to negotiate to settle & finalize various issues related to customs / Bonds / Port / BEPZA / Bank / Forwarders / C&F / Transport agencies etc.
∎ Ensure all coordination with internal & external stake holders.
∎ Any other task assign by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years
∎ Post-Graduation in any discipline from any reputed university.
∎ Must have knowledge about the BEPZA import & export rules.
∎ Must have Experience to face Custom Audit.
∎ Applicant should have experience in the business area such as Self C&F of Group of of Companies, RMG, Garments Accessories, Composite knit, Textile, Spinning etc.
∎ Working experience in the EPZ based RMG Sector.
