Job Responsibilities:
∎ Electrical Safety Compliance & Remediation works.
∎ 1. Do electrical safety inspections and prepare conformity assessment report as per national and international applicable standards (BNBC. NFPA, Alliance and Accord Standards).Take corrective action and preventive action (CAPA} as per conformity assessment reports of individual factories.
∎ 2. Prepare periodical safety inspection program (PSIP) for the factories as per standard. Develop implement and maintain proper conformity assessment materials / documents for the factories.
∎ 3. Conduct electrical safety training periodically for the associated personnel and do
∎ Performance evaluation, Prepare and review Single Line Diagram (SLD) (proposed / as-built) for the individual new / old factories. Implement and update SLD periodically. Prepare and review Lighting Protection System (LPS) design (proposed / as-built) for the individual new / old factories.
∎ 4. Do thermography periodically and prepare thermal analysis report for the electrical system of the running factories according to the standard. Also, take necessary actions for developed thermal exceptions.
∎ 5. Conduct Insulation Resistance (lR) Test and Earth Resistance {ER) Test for the factories and prepare reports periodically. Also. compare reports to the standard values and take preventive actions if deviations found.
∎ 6. Attend all buyers regarding electrical safety as per schedule and rectify all nonconformity as they recommended.
∎ New Factory project or facilities related electrical work:
∎ 1. Coordinate with electrical consultant; civil engineers and architect regarding new electrical construction or projects. Ensure electrical support and safety in construction site.
∎ 2. Prepare proper technical requirement and design to accomplish an electrical project.
∎ 3. Prepare economic budget based on the technical requirement of electrical distribution system for the new proposed factories as per Iayout and other requirements.
∎ 4. Ensure electrical compliance in new electrical construction or modification work" Handle electrical contractors and supervise them for new electrical construction and modification work as per prepared drawing and design.
∎ 5. Provide decisions and direction regarding electrical work to project engineers, site engineers and electricians.
∎ 6. Ensure proper project management, integration. time. cost, quality and risk management.
∎ 7. Coordinate with Procurement Supply,-Management (PSM) department and the supplier for quality materials for the project site" Coordinate with welding workshop for mechanical support.
∎ 8. Collect offers &om contractors and prepare CS for negotiation for special and emergency electrical work.
