Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for developing and implementing the University's Alumni Relations plan including, for example, communications and publicity, employer links, alumni benefits and services, events and activities, and alumni associations nationally and internationally
∎ Promote effective communications and coordination across the university relating to alumni relations activities
∎ Organize alumni events and meetings, including fundraising opportunities for the alumni
∎ Prepare Alumni Relations budget, annual alumni newsletter and maintain web-based alumni resources
∎ Lead surveys on graduate/alumni destinations
∎ Ensure the establishment and maintenance of an effective alumni database
∎ Recruit and supervise staff and volunteers who may, from time to time, be assigned to support alumni relations
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum five to six years of work experience in alumni relations, youth engagement, university or academic administration, fundraising, public relations and communications or similar roles
∎ Experience with survey assessment tools such as SurveyMonkey, or Google Forms; statistical analysis skills would be desirable
∎ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and excellent communication skills in both verbal and written languages (English and Bangla)
∎ Excellent presentation skills along with IT skills, including database management systems and graphic design software
∎ Demonstrable ability to devise and implement a data-oriented alumni relations plan
∎ Efficiency in organizational skills to plan and deliver high-quality events involving multiple stakeholders
∎ Willingness to travel and take part in student activities as per requirement and flexible in working hours
