Education:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Marine Engineering
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

∎ Proven experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in the marine or dredging industry.
∎ Strong knowledge of dredging operations, machinery, and maintenance practices.
∎ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

∎ Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement maintenance schedules for dredging equipment such as dredgers, pumps, and auxiliary machinery.
∎ Conduct regular inspections and assessments of equipment to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.
∎ Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems and develop solutions for repairs.
∎ Collaborate with operational teams to ensure maintenance activities align with project timelines and minimize disruptions.
∎ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
∎ Oversee and train maintenance staff and technicians.
∎ Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
∎ Liaise with external vendors for parts procurement and repairs that cannot be handled in-house.
∎ Assist in the budgeting and planning for maintenance operations.
∎ The Maintenance Engineer will oversee the maintenance and repair of dredging equipment and machinery to ensure operational efficiency. This role involves planning maintenance schedules, conducting inspections, and managing repair projects to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards.
