Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (B Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering /EEE, Diploma in Engineering.
∎ Technical qualification (3 years/4 years course) from approved universities and government to work as HSE Supervisor/Engineer.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overseeing hotel infrastructure to ensure functionality and safety.
∎ Managing maintenance teams.
∎ Organizing repair, installation, and renovation projects.
∎ Inspect Resort regularly to ensure it meets safety standards.
∎ Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies, and the area of all the facilities.
∎ Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests.
∎ Plan and oversee construction and renovations.
∎ Act fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages).
∎ Find ways to reduce (keep control) resort operating costs and conserve energy.
∎ Supervise team of Engineering Department.
∎ Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
∎ Maintain budgets, expenses, and activity logs.
∎ Maintain records of all HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) training and meetings.
∎ Be able to organize labor/ sub-contractors / plants/equipment in a safe and risk-free manner.
∎ Ensure all Health and Safety matters are reported to the Head of operations.
∎ Champion Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental works on the Project.
∎ Manage the development of safety plans and rigorously enforce implementation.
∎ Facilitate risk assessments and safety audits.
∎ Encourage and promote a project safety culture.
∎ Provide leadership to the site team, subcontractors, and workforce in the development of their safety plans and procedures, an inspection of works/ daily execution activities to make sure using good/safe tools, machines, working platform etc.
∎ Investigate and report all incidents with efficiency and ensure debriefs are conducted and actioned. Develop safety audit schedule and assist in carrying out on-site audits and meetings, conduct thorough site inspections and support site to close out any actions arising.
∎ Assist with the preparation of work method statements to encompass relevant construction processes.
∎ MEP- Maintenance.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 Years in the same position, in a reputable Hotel/Resort.
∎ In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations.
∎ Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer and HVAC systems; hotel industry experience is a plus.
∎ Experience in administrative processes (e.g. budgeting, performance management).
∎ Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly.
∎ Problem-solving aptitude.
∎ Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
